Shillong with its vanity number plates of ‘educational capital’, ‘rock capital’, ‘cliche capital’ has had many of these TEDx full of 18minutes of wannabe celebrities, failed politicians, music evangelists, development messiah, crumbling royalty with useless insights and bad powerpoint slides. It is high time to cap this crap.
